Soar into Aviation Flight Camp!

For Grades 4-8

Have you always been interested in airplanes and wanted to know how to get started in aviation or aerospace?  This camp is for rising 4th through rising 8th graders who want to learn more about the airport, airplanes, and aerospace careers.  This camp will bring you to the Winchester Regional Airport for an afternoon of exploring aviation and talking with local pilots and aerospace companies. Campers will be on the ground walking to different hangars at the airport for hands-on learning. Topics covered include aircraft mainitience, Civil Air Patrol, Aerospace careers, and airport operations. Campers will not be flying, but they will leave with a free flight voucher to be used after the camp.
