Camp Descriptions

Pioneer Days (1-4PM):

Make like a pioneer! Learn how the early American settlers lived and experience life like they did. Campers will make soap and candles, do a little sewing and leather work, create a gourd creation, engage in fiber-carding, spinning, or weaving and make some yummy snacks, including homemade butter!

Sunny Days (9AM-12PM):

Our youngest campers will delight in this sensory-based camp where they will learn and play with ABCs, numbers, colors, and practice other “life skills” such as making healthy snacks, dealing with emotions, and other age appropriate skills and topics!

Ages 3-5, bathroom independent and no separation anxiety.

Shake it up with Shakespeare (9AM-12PM):

This camp aims to teach the context and language of Shakespeare’s work (as well as the fun in Shakespeare!) Campers will partake in theatre games, receive rudimentary stage combat training, and learn about period movement and speech in an age-appropriate Shakespearean play. Camp will culminate in a final performance where campers will present a monologue or scene from the chosen play!

Mission: Space (1-4PM)

Take a trip with the museum to explore outer space! Engage in STEAM activities, experiments and games each day. Campers will have a new mission daily to navigate and learn about different areas of and concepts about space and space travel.
